N.A.A.P.I.D/Parent Involvement Day: Monday, Feb. 9, is a day designated to encourage parents to connect with their child's school and become involved in their education. National African American Parent Involvement Day (N.A.A.P.I.D.) is a national initiative started by Joe Dulin, a former Ann Arbor principal. We invite ALL parents to join us for programs at Bryant and Pattengill on Feb. 9. Bryant will feature a continental breakfast and discussion led by Mr. John Finn, founder of D.A.D.S. (Dads Are Doing Something). Pattengill will offer a school-wide assembly, and parent luncheon with speaker Ms. Marnise Roberts, author of Friendly Not Friends: How To Do the Hard Work of Parenting & Still Make Your Home Fun. See attached flyer for more information. Please join us for the day's events and plan to visit with your child at school!

Girls On The Run Coaches: Registration has begun for the 2015 Girls on the Run (GOTR) season and we rely on volunteers to assist with this program for girls in grades 3-5. Click here to learn more about becoming a coach or practice partner. You don't have to be a runner to be involved with GOTR! Questions? Contact Stephanie Carlson at, or submit an application

Marquee Sign at Bryant: The marquee sign in front of Bryant needs to be changed every week or so to promote upcoming events throughout the school year. This takes 30 minutes a week at most and is a great way to volunteer at your child's school! Interested? Contact Carmen Atkins at or 734-330-9967.
