Box Tops Deadline is Friday, Oct. 23rd The Box Tops for Education program is an easy way to earn money for our schools! Simply clip and save the Box Tops "coupons" found on these products. Please turn in all of your Box Tops this Friday, Oct. 23. Collection boxes are near each school's front office. Questions? Contact Jean Powell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Parent lending library- This free service is offered to all Bryant and Pattengill families. The books will be displayed at Bryant. The parents can pick 2 to 3 books at their child's reading level. The students can practice reading the books and return them the following week and get more books. You can also return the books to your child's teacher. The parent lending library is open only on Wednesdays beginning October 28th from 8:40am- 5:15pm. It is located in the main lobby of the school. You can ask your child's teacher for the level or use your child's raz kid's reading level to choose the books. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Lim- email@example.com
Help Families Stay Warm This Winter: Please consider donating clean, gently used pants, sweatshirts, coats, boots, gloves, hats, etc. of all sizes for the Bryant/Pattengill Fall Clothing Drive, Oct. 16-Oct 30th. Donation boxes are at both schools: Bryant — black bin by the gym, and Pattengill — box located between the art room and the main office. Our Community Cares: Kensington Court Hotel: Visit the Kensington Court Hotel near Briarwood Mall (610 Hilton Blvd.) on Friday, Oct. 30, 6-8pm for trick-or-treating at 12 stations around the hotel, followed by Halloween cookie decorating. FREE to the public. Wear your costume! Click here to sign-up for this event (sign-up is suggested, but not required to attend). Polar Express Experience: Do you have family or friends visiting Ann Arbor this holiday season, or are you considering a "staycation"? Our schools will receive $10 for each "Polar Express" package booked at Kensington Court, available on Sat., Nov. 21 and Sat., Dec. 19. Be sure to reference "Bryant/Pattengill" upon booking. Attention Fifth Grade Mom's and Daughters: Mark your calendars for "Figuring Out Friendships," a mother-daughter workshop for girls in 5th and 6th grades on Saturday, Nov. 14, 9am-1pm, at The New Center, 1100 N. Main St. #100, Ann Arbor. The workshop is aimed at reducing relational aggression and building stronger relationships and a sense of community among all girls and women. A single $10 ticket applies to both mother (or caregiver) and daughter, and includes lunch. Scholarships are available. Click here for more details and to purchase tickets.
Technical Error resolved on B/P Website: There was an issue with the "specify your own amount" donate button on the website when people went to pay dues. It was sending people to the main paypal website instead of the donation page. This has been fixed. If you are still having difficulty making donations online, contact Mark Mojica- email@example.com

Halloween Costumes at Bryant School Only: On Friday, Oct. 30, students will be allowed to wear costumes to school. If you are allowing your child to wear a costume, please adhere to the following: No weapons, masks, toys, or gore of ANY kind — positive costumes only. Students should come to school dressed in their costume.
Visit the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop: Located at 2280 S. Industrial Hwy., the PTO Thrift Shop supports our schools and students. Shop, donate, and support AAPS!
