Shop At PTO Thrift Store And Support Our B/P PTO This Week: SHOW YOUR SUPPORT for our Bryant/Pattengill PTO at the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop! From June 5 to June 11 we have an opportunity to earn a percentage of $1000. For every $5 you spend at the shop, place a token in the Bryant/Pattengill PTO collection jar. The more tokens in the jar, the more we will earn in fundraising dollars. Spread the word to family and friends and let's SHOW OUR SUPPORT for our school.

Check Out Bryant's PE Teacher Mr. Willards End Of The Year Newsflash: Make sure you read Mr. Willard's last newsflash of the year, and read about how much all of the students enjoyed Field Day.

Please Keep Saving Box Tops Over The Summer: As this school year comes to an end and we look forward to a relaxing summer, please remember to submit any Box Tops for an end of the year submission. Also, remember to keep collecting this summer and if possible, ask any relatives and neighbors to save Box Tops for you, too. Each BT will help us increase the amount of money we will earn. Here is the website address as a reminder- boxtops4education.com Thanks for your contributions! Jean Powell -jmpowl@aol.com

Save the Date: Back-To-School "Popsicles on the Playground" - Bryant/Pattengill families, please mark your calendars for our back-to-school event on Wednesday, August 31 (tentative), 4-6pm on the Bryant Playground. Come out to see classmates old and new, visit with the principals, and share a frozen treat! Several members of the Bryant/Pattengill teaching staff will be available to meet and greet families. We look forward to seeing you in August, to kick off another great school year!

Can You Assist with P.O.P.? If you're willing to serve popsicles or water at the "Popsicles on the Playground" back-to-school event, please sign up here. Teenagers welcome to serve, as well. You will be contacted in late August with more details. Thank you!

4th Grade Families "Save The Date" For 5th Grade Camp Next November - Time is flying and your soon to be 5th Grader will have the opportunity to attend the 5th Grade overnight camp trip to Howell Nature Center on November 9 - 11, 2016. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience camp, form bonds with other students, and make memories that will last a lifetime! The success of camp relies on adult volunteers to chaperone. Based on the current numbers for this class, we anticipate we will need approximately 6-7 male chaperones, 4-5 female chaperones, and 1 medical chaperone, so please start thinking about if you can volunteer. Estimated cost will be $155.00 per student and we are fully committed to ensuring that all students have equal access to this trip regardless of their ability to pay. Look out for more information about the trip as well as applications for chaperones and camperships in the fall. The staff at Pattengill is very excited to offer this trip every year for our 5th grade students. Questions? Contact Barb Zimdars 5th Grade Camp Chair at barbara.zimdars@bryantpattengill.org

Thank You to Departing PTO Board Members: If you see Carmen Atkins, Kelly Pomorski, Lisa Treat, or Bob Treat, please tell them thank you for a job well done, serving our schools on the PTO Board! They have shared their time and energy to support our students and staff, and we appreciate their service. Thank you Carmen, Kelly, Lisa, and Bob, from all of us at Bryant/Pattengill!

Many Thanks.

Thank you: Jen Teeter for keeping the Bryant Marquee up and running the entire year. The marquee is a great source for information and event reminders for all parents and visitors. This is a huge task, you handled it with ease!

Kudos: to Mr. Willard and Kathy Owens for coordinating an amazing Field Day at Bryant. Thank you to ALL the volunteers who helped make the afternoon a success. The children had a great time, some said it was the best one yet!

Thank you: Room Parents for all that you have done this year. You did a fantastic job of getting messages out to families from the PTO, assisting teachers in the classroom and many other tireless projects. You are very much appreciated. Enjoy your summer
