Yearbook Orders Are Due Friday: Be sure to turn in your order with payment to your child's teacher by tomorrow, Friday, March 24 if you would like a Bryant/Pattengill 2016-2017 Yearbook ($15 each). You may also order online at

Read-A-Thon Update: Please be sure to turn in all sponsor money by Monday, March 27. Our Bryant and Pattengill students read for a total of 5,330 hours during Read-A-Thon (beating last year's total of 5,171 hours!). A big thank you to Carmen Atkins, Jennifer Nguyen and the rest of the amazing Read-A-Thon volunteers for all of their hard work and efforts in putting on another successful Read-A-Thon! Thank you! Show Your Support for B/P's Science Olympiad Team: Our schools have an opportunity to earn a percentage of $1,000 now through Saturday, at the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop (2280 S. Industrial Hwy.). For every $5 spent at the Thrift Shop, shoppers earn a token. Cast your tokens this week in support of our Science Olympiad team. Spread the word to friends and family and let's show our support for our schoosl! See the attached flier for store hours.

Family Science Night at Bryant on Tuesday: Come to Bryant on Tuesday, March 28, 6-7:30pm for lots of hands-on science fun with the Hands-On Museum. See you there!

Lunch with a Loved One Next Thursday & Friday: Plan to join your student for lunch during Lunch with a Loved One on Thursday, March 30 for Pattengill and Friday, March 31 for Bryant. Lunch Schedule for Bryant: Young 5's & Kindergarten lunch & recess: 11:30am-12:18pm, 1st Grade lunch & recess: 12:02-12:50p, 2nd Grade lunch & recess: 12:30-1:18p. Lunch Schedule for Pattengill: 3rd Grade lunch: 12:24-12:48pm, 4th Grade lunch: 12:48-1:12pm, 5th Grade lunch: 11:54am- 12:18pm.

DAW Thank You: A big thank-you goes to co-coordinators Xan Morgan and Jaime Moore for organizing the Disability Awareness Workshop for our Pattengill 4th graders last Thursday. Students enjoyed hands-on learning about hearing, speech, vision, physical, and learning disabilities. Thanks also to the many parent volunteers and those from the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living, who lent their time and energy to this important experience for our students.

Ann Arbor Jaycees Spring Eggstravaganza: Come on out to this free event at Lillie Park (4365 Platt Rd.) on Sat., April 15, 11am-1pm, to celebrate spring! Scrambles will begin at 11:30am, 12pm, and 12:30pm. Be sure to leave time for the petting zoo, arts and crafts, balloon twisters, and more! Pre-register on the website and bring a donation of children's art supplies to be entered in our raffle, and win one of many exciting prizes! For children ages 10 and under.
